Open Positions

Adjuncts are part-time, non-salaried, non-tenure track faculty members who are paid per credit/class hour for each class they teach and report directly to the Division Dean. We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach online classes for several different divisions for the College:

Approval Process

Positions will be filled on an as needed basis and qualified applicants will be contacted by the academic department.

Once your application and credentials have been reviewed, you will interview with the discipline dean virtually. After being approved by the dean, you will complete a 6 to 8 hour express certification course that focuses on the learning environment and skills for facilitation of discussion-oriented classes. Upon completion of the course, you will be assigned a class.

You may have the certification course requirement waived by providing additional information.

Pay Rates

Adjunct faculty teaching on a credit/contact hour basis as defined in the Policy Manual are hired according to degree and appropriate subject matter credentials. Adjuncts are paid for classroom instruction, office hours, and grading and preparation time based on a time formula consistent with full-time teaching faculty weekly commitments for the same work.

Adjuncts teaching on a credit/contact hour basis as defined in the Policy Manual shall be paid according to the following credit hour rates:

Masters $714
Bachelors $648
Less than Bachelors with program specific credentials and Associate degree $571
