About the United Way
The mission of the United Way of the Big Bend (UWBB) is to raise awareness, mobilize resources and find collaborative, targeted solutions for our community’s most vital concerns.
UNITE
UWBB brings together donors, volunteers, businesses, nonprofits, faith-based, community leaders, government, experts, and those in need to address challenges in our community. Together we work toward bold community Goals for 2022.
STRATEGIZE
UWBB breaks each problem down to its root cause, and with our stakeholders, develops research-based, comprehensive strategies to make significant and sustainable progress.
TACKLE
Once the strategies are set, it’s time for action. UWBB invests in or creates initiatives designed to shrink the ALICE population and those living in poverty.
EVALUATE
UWBB creates metrics and continuously evaluates the results of our investments, holding every program partner and initiative accountable to keep a significant impact.
