Tallahassee Community College has been recognized as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). TCC is one of 135 fall Best and Brightest national winners chosen from more than 1,000 nominations.

With more than 20 years of experience conducting the Best and Brightest competitions, the NABR has identified numerous best Human Resource practices and provided benchmarking for companies that continue to be leaders in employment standards. The companies have kept the needs of their employees first and provide perks that include development, well-being, work-life balance, and rewards and recognition.

“We pride ourselves on our commitment to not only be the college of choice for our students and the partner of choice for our community, but also the employer of choice for our colleagues," said Dr. Jim Murdaugh, president of TCC. “That is why it is such an honor to receive this Best and Brightest recognition. Our people are our most important resource, and investing in them is one of my top priorities.”

“These 2022 winning organizations have stood out during unpredictable times and have proven they are an employer of choice. They continue to keep the needs of their employees first and provide perks that include development, wellbeing, work-life balance, rewards and recognition. In addition, these winning companies offer a fantastic work culture and workplace environment that attracts and retains superior employees”, said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO of NABR and The Best and Brightest Program.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation Winners will be honored during the virtual Illuminate Business Summit week in February 2023.
