TCC hosts Full STEAM Ahead 2.0 Virtual Summer Camp

Tallahassee Community College is launching a virtual design and coding summer camp powered by Black Rocket, a national leader in tech-education. The weekly camps are aimed to launch the creativity of kids ages 8-14. TCC launches Be Essential Campaign during COVID-19 Crisis

Tallahassee Community College’s Division of Workforce Development launched the Be Essential campaign on June 1. The College is directing its focus to connecting those unemployed and impacted by the COVID-19 crisis with training in an “essential” area of the workforce that is in demand. TCC is partnering with area businesses who are hiring and in need of a skilled workforce to accomplish this.

TCC Produces 3D Printable Face Masks for First Responders

Tallahassee Community College is producing 3D Printable Face Masks for first responders. The College’s Computer Technology Department (CT) created 25 filtration face masks for the TCC Police Department (TCC PD). The CT manager Mike Vickers said he saw the call to action nationwide for surgical face masks and other medical equipment to fight the COVID-19 crisis and wanted to help. Read More

TCC Trains Future Dental Hygienists
