Travel and Study Abroad
Tallahassee Community College's travel and study programs allow students to experience firsthand the reality of diverse customs, languages and culture. These opportunities enable students to experience a different culture and have on-site encounters with some of the greatest accomplishments in history and affords them the chance to practice what they learn about other customs, languages and currencies.
China Study Abroad
In conjunction with Tianjin Foreign Studies University, located just 30 minutes from the national capital city of Beijing, TCC offers a China Study Abroad Programs each summer.
While in Tianjin, students will take Chinese Culture (IDS1195), which is taught by a Chinese professor who is proficient in English. The course will focus on Chinese history and culture, as well as basic Chinese language expressions and words.
Students will also take International Business (GEB2955), working in teams with Chinese students who speak English. During this course, students will develop a plan for a Chinese business, one that will eventually be exported to the United States.

Sample locations include: London, England; Paris, France; Rome, Italy; Florence, Italy; and Athens, Greece. Stonehenge, England; Mont St. Michael, France; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Venice, Italy.

Museum Trips
Tallahassee Community College offers a one credit course, HUM 2942, visiting major art galleries and museums in Washington and/or New York. Although we live in a community with many active artists, we do not have access to the works of world-recognized artists. These, by nature, are housed in the great museums of the world. For that reason, TCC organizes an opportunity for students to travel and see these collections in person.

Spain Study Abroad
Barcelona, as Spain's second ranking city in both size and importance, is a great place from which to begin our journey. The main study portion of the program takes place in Madrid, with excursions and one day tours to Segovia and Toledo, to name a few. This year's program will also include a tour of Paris, France. This program is also available to community members.
