Blackboard 9 Information

In August 2011, TCC switched from Blackboard 7.3 to Blackboard 9.1. Information about the migration and the current version is available below.

• Browser Compatibility 

Implementation Timeline:

• June 6 – July 18, 2011  
   Blackboard 9 Master Shells are created and content is copied into Master Shells, based on submitted Blackboard Course Migration forms.
• June 27, 2011   
   Upgrading Your Skills to Blackboard 9  Training begins.
• July 18, 2011  
     Faculty will be granted access to their Blackboard 9 semester shells.
• August 17, 2011  
     Switchover date to Blackboard 9. Faculty and students will no longer be able to access Blackboard 7.  
• August 17, 2011 - August 31, 2012  
   Blackboard 7 will be accessible only by Blackboard Support staff.
