DENTAL HYGIENE CLINIC

The dental hygiene clinic is a training facility for students in the Dental Hygiene Program. It is staffed and supervised by licensed area dentists and dental hygiene faculty.  We request at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation due to the fact that the Dental Clinic is a teaching facility and the students depend upon appointments for requirements toward graduation. Appointment length is approximately 3-4 hours.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

     FALL SEMESTER:  Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am- 5:00pm

     SPRING SEMESTER:  Monday – Thursday 8:30am- 5:00pm

     SUMMER SEMESTER:  Wednesday 8:30am -12:00pm and Thursday 8:30am -5:00pm

     Dental Examination (pre-screening required for initial visit)

     Prophylaxis (scaling and polishing)

     Periodontal Therapy (scaling and root planning)

     Fluoride Treatment

     Oral Cancer Screening

     Nutritional Counseling

     X-Rays

     Pit and Fissure Sealants

FEES:

  Prophylaxis :  Adults- $12.00, Students/Senior Citizens- $6.00

  X-rays:  Full Mouth Series/ Panorex- $9.00

          Bitewings- $3.00

          P.A.’s- $2.00

          Duplicate X-rays- $3.00

Pit and Fissure Sealants- $2.00 per tooth
