Reserve Services

Reserve materials are kept behind the circulation desk on the first floor. Reserve request forms (sample below), available at the circulation desk and from Division secretaries, should be completed well in advance of the time needed because of the necessity for recalling books which may be in circulation. Library staff also need time to process reserve requests and enter them into the LINCC automated circulation system. Faculty must have a validated TCC I. D. card when placing material on reserve for the first time. Books on reserve are identified in the LINCC database as location "Reserves". As space is limited, please be selective in what you put on reserve. To keep the reserve collection free of inactive materials, be sure to fill in the removal date on the reserve request form. If a date is not specified, the material will be removed automatically at the end of the term. NOTE: Photocopies of articles or books must be cleared with the Circulation Department for copyright clearance.
