Pick up a contest form at the Library Access Services desk on the first floor of the library, or from the Reference Services desk on the 2nd floor of the Library.

TCC Authors will read from their recently published works

At 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, Dr. Anthony Viegbesie, history and social sciences professor, will read from his book, Our Faults: Conversations on the State of Affairs in Modern Black America

And at 7 p.m., Monday, February 27, Dr. Wes Singletary, history and social sciences adjunct professor, will read from his book, The Right Time: John Henry “Pop” Lloyd and Black Baseball  . 

Both readings will take place on the first floor of the TCC Library, and copies of the books will be available for purchase and to be signed by the authors. 

   

Book displays

on both 1st and 2nd floor celebrate African American History. On the first floor, displays highlight African American heritage and biography. The second floor display theme, from ASALH, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, is Black Women in American Culture and History .
