Health Education

Pursue a promising career in a challenging and rewarding field. The opportunity to instruct others on healthy lifestyles, work with a range of age groups and promote better community health are just a few of the benefits of earning a degree in Health Education.

You'll have the opportunity to work in county health departments, with volunteer health organizations, private companies and more.

Careers in Health Education generally attract individuals who are social, have an interest in helping people and who enjoy teaching and training. As students in this area, individuals will often have a higher than average interest in health and the biological sciences.

In addition to a four-year degree, other requirements, such as a background check, may be necessary for some workplaces, such as schools. Beyond a high school diploma or GED, no academic requirements are needed for enrollment.
