Soldier to Student Checklist

1. Complete Application for Admission and choose a program of study

  • Online: www.tcc.fl.edu or call 1-850-201-8555
  • Or visit office location: Enrollment Services, 2nd Floor, Student Union Bldg.

2. Request official transcript of academic records (Enrollment Services)

  • High School transcript or copy of GED test Scores
  • Transfer students - need official transcripts from all colleges attended
  • Transient students - transient student letter or form from home institution’s Registrar’s Office
  • Non-degree students - high school transcript or Copy of GED test scores or transcripts for last college attended and complete the non-degree course form.
  • Veterans Affairs students must submit a DD-214, AARTS, SMART, CCAR and DANTES to evaluate for military experience and credits.

3. Provide Measles Immunization: (Enrollment)

  • Born on or after 1/1/1957 must provide documented proof of immunization German Measles (rubella) and Measles (rubeola-2 doses)

4. Take College Placement test or submit SAT or ACT scores (Enrollment Services Office)

  • TCC Testing Center (850) 201-8282
  • Adult Education or postsecondary adult vocation certificate program must take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)

5. Students receiving financial aid, please refer to these websites: 

 Coverage for tuition and fees must be completed by posted due date of fees.

6. Attend orientation and advising

  • Complete online or register for the orientation class: www.tcc.fl.edu

7. Register for classes.

  • Student with disabilities can register in Disability Support Services (DSS)and must bring documentation of disability www.tcc.fl.edu

8. Student ID/Parking

  • Visit Campus Police, Center Building (CB)

9. Veterans, reservists and children and spouses complete application for MGI Bill at www.gibill.va.gov; click Educational Benefits; click forms.
