Welcome to Theatre TCC!

Theatre TCC! promises to deliver another exciting season in 2011-12, including the campy, rollicking musical Zombie Prom,  Wendy Wasserstein's poignant play, The Heidi Chronicles,  and the hysterical farce, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.

The 2010-11 season opens on October 13th with Zombie Prom- the perfect show to get you into the Halloween spirit!  Set in the 1950s, the score hits the jackpot with songs such as "Rules, Regulations, and Respect," "The Voice in the Ocean," "How Can I say Goodbye?" and "Expose." Additional performances are scheduled for October 14-15 and 20-22. 

Add some poignancy and purpose to your holiday season with Wendy Wasserstein's Tony Award-winning play, The Heidi Chronicles.  Follow Heidi Holland as she navigates the changing world of the 1960s, '70s, and '80s on a quest for fulfillment and a sense of identity. Wasserstein's play guarantees to keep you laughing while celebrating the power of the individual. The Heidi Chronicles  runs December 1-3 and 8-10.

In the spring, take a step back in time with the sidesplitting farce The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940! A creative team meets at a potential backer's scheduled mansion to pitch a new Broadway show, but soon members of the group begin to drop dead. Trapped by a snow storm, panic, chaos and hilarity ensue as accusations are made and eventually the mystery is solved.  The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940  runs April 5-7 and 12-14. 

All Theatre TCC! productions take place in Turner Auditorium, which boasts 480 seats with plenty of leg room, great sight lines, and fantastic acoustics! When you combine some of the region's best directors, designers, and technicians with a state-of the-art performance space--and UNBEATABLE TICKET PRICES--it's easy to see why our productions have become "must-see" events amongst Tallahassee's cultural attractions.

There's no denying the growth of the arts at Tallahassee Community College! Through the ongoing work of the Foundation, continuing growth of ticket sales, and generous corporate and private support, we provide nearly thirty students with annual scholarships that allow them to explore their artistic dreams. Theatre TCC's performances take place in the newly renovated Turner Auditorium, part of Tallahassee Community College's Fine & Performing Arts Center. While attending a Theatre TCC! performance, we invite you to visit the Ralph Hurst Gallery before the show--only steps away from the theatre.
