TCC Softball upsets No. 1 Florida State College

CLEARWATER, Fla. (January 31, 2010) - FCCAA No. 8 Tallahassee Community College beat its second nationally-ranked opponent in as many days, downing FCCAA No. 1/NJCAA No. 5 Florida State College at Jacksonville, 4-3, on the final day of play at the JUCO Kickoff Tournament.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 30, 2010) – Saturday evening’s 1 vs. 2 matchup in Florida JUCO Basketball lived up to its billing as FCCAA No. 2/NJCAA No. 14 Tallahassee Community College got out of the Eagledome with a 76-73 win over No. 1/No. 2 Northwest Florida State College.

TCC strikes late to down South Georgia in ’10 opener

DOUGLAS, Ga. (January 29, 2010) – Heading to the eighth inning of Friday’s season opener at South Georgia College, FCCAA No. 7 Tallahassee Community College found itself in a 3-3 game with the Tigers. It was a perfect opportunity for TCC head coach Mike McLeod to gauge how his young ballclub would respond in late-inning situations.

PENSACOLA, Fla. (January 27, 2010) - NJCAA No. 14/FCCAA No. 2 Tallahassee Community College pulled away in the second half and picked up an 87-76 win on the road against FCCAA No. 10 Pensacola Junior College in Panhandle Conference basketball action on Wednesday evening.
