Funding Sources for Enhancing Student Learning
The Center for Teaching, Learning and Leadership provides this Grants and Funding Page as a clearinghouse for faculty who are looking for resources to support excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. Tallahassee Community College, the TCC Foundation, and national and international organizations offer various funding options with the goal of enhancing student learning. Other funding sources include Divisional Budgets and the Budget Initiative Process.
Marjorie R. Turnbull Faculty Fellows
Purpose: A faculty fellowship is defined as one semester reassigned time to allow a faculty member the opportunity to pursue a project which directly contributes to excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
Deadline: Spring and Fall Semesters, Date to be announced
Amount: Release time from all but one 3-5 hour course and $2000

Mini-Grants
Purpose: The purpose of the Mini-Grant program is to provide quick access to funds for spontaneous needs generated by a desire to improve the teaching/learning environment.
Deadline: On a first come first serve basis.
Amount: $1500 per award, approximately 6 - 7 per semester

Application: Applications will be accepted for 2011-12 funds beginning July 1, 2011.
College Innovation Fund
Purpose: The College Innovation Fund (CIF) encourages and provides financial support for faculty, staff and students to develop and implement innovative projects that will improve the quality and/or quantity of programs and services at Tallahassee Community College. CIF grant awards are given for projects that benefit the College and involve costs that fall beyond the College's operational budget.

Faculty Co-Curricular Learning Grants
Purpose: To provide faculty/instructors the opportunity to obtain funds for programs which support and facilitate student-faculty interaction, student leadership development and student learning outside of the classroom.
Deadline: Thirty (30) calendar days prior to the program or activity
Amount: Faculty or academic departments can request up to $1,000 for programs and events
