Leadership

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Leadership is committed to promoting excellence in leadership through collaboration, professional enrichment activities and providing dedicated resources. The Center offers leadership development opportunities through Leadership TCC, Leadership TCC EX, the Leadership Book Club and the Chair Academy.

Leadership TCC

Leadership TCC is a year-long program for faculty, staff, and administrators designed to provide opportunities for professional growth, advancing the vision and mission of TCC while building on our world class leadership to strengthen our learning environment.

Leadership TCC EX

In order to provide an environment where leadership and change can flourish, it is important that we provide leaders and in particular, Strategic Forum, an executive summary version of Leadership TCC.  Monthly, we will provide updates on Leadership TCC including insight from our participants and speakers along with access to the resources we are using and how this information can benefit TCC and individual divisions.  Executive summaries will be provided in a variety of manners, including video and through short presentations during the monthly strategic forum meetings.

Chair Academy

The Chair Academy provides leadership development to college and university leaders. Many of Tallahassee Community College's faculty and staff have attended the Chair Academy.

Good to Great Conversations

Once a month, the Center for Teaching, Learning and Leadership sits down with faculty and staff to discuss what it takes to go from good to great. Based on Jim Collins' book Good to Great,  this group discusses some outstanding quotes from the book.
