Sunshine Fund Guidelines

The Sunshine Fund annual enrollment period begins July 15, 2008 and runs through August 15, 2008.

The purpose of the Sunshine Fund is to bring a ray of sunshine into the lives of our co-workers. For those special occasions such as a retirement, birth of a baby, or when things aren’t going well for us either through an illness or death of a loved one, it is comforting to know that our TCC family cares about us. Those who have in the past received cards and flowers are always so appreciative to know that we are thinking about them and sending our rays of sunshine to wish them well. This is a very worthwhile gesture of goodwill.

The enrollment fee is $10.00. Donations can be made by cash, check (made payable to TCC Classified Staff Sunshine Fund) or payroll deduction. Please check the appropriate fields on the Sunshine Fund Contribution Form (pdf 384.61 kB) and submit to Lee Hatcher-Slaton no later than August 15th so processing can be completed for the September payroll.

The enrollment form that you complete will be in effect from September 1, 2008 to August 31, 2009. Even if you have been a member in previous years, it is necessary to complete a new Payroll Deduction Authorization Form on a yearly basis.

Another important note, the campus is so large that it is extremely difficult to know what is happening with our co-workers from other areas unless you contact the Sunshine Fund administrator or your area rep to let them know of the event. The Sunshine Fund can successfully operate only if you let us know when to acknowledge someone. The contact persons for the fund are listed below. Thank you for allowing this gesture of good will to continue. If you have any questions regarding this program and its operation, please do not hesitate to contact Lee Hatcher-Slaton at 201-6042. After the fund drive is complete she has agreed to administer the fund. You can also notify her if a card or flowers need to be sent.

The 2008-09 Sunshine Fund Guidelines have been established pending the continued availability of funds as follows:
