How can I get information about available positions at Tallahassee College?
- Visit our online jobs listing. All available positions, including faculty openings, are posted there.
- TCC vacancies are listed on Eagle TV
- TCC vacancies are also listed in four local papers ( Tallahassee Democrat, Wakulla News, Capital Outlook, and Gadsden County Times)

Can I apply for multiple positions?
- Yes, you may apply for multiple vacancies, but you must submit an additional application for each position that you wish to apply.
- Adjunct or full-time faculty applicants may apply for multiple faculty vacancies using one application. However, separate cover letters, addressing each faculty vacancy must be provided with the adjunct or full-time application.

How long does it take to process my application?
Applications are processed within 24 hours of receipt. However, applications are not forwarded to the hiring department until two (2) working days after the advertised deadline.

How do I know if my application was received?
- When you apply online, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that you have successfully applied for the position. If you fax an application, it is highly suggested that you contact the Human Resources Department by phone (850) 201-8510 or email humres@tcc.fl.edu to obtain receipt conformation.

Can I be considered for a vacancy if I simply postmark, e-mail, fax, or drop off my resume and cover letter to the Human Resources Department?
- A resume may be added to the application, but can not take the place of the application. To be considered for a publicized vacancy at the college, you must submit the proper TCC Employment Application, which may be down loaded for the website (see applications).

How can I learn the status of my candidacy?
- Hiring managers and screening committee members will contact you if your background and experiences are an appropriate match for the position(s) to which you are applying.

How often are job postings on the website updated?
- New positions are posted by the end of the week and will appear in the Sunday edition of the areas major newspaper. Job listings that are not OPS or internal listings will remain on the website for at least ten business days.

How do I find out if a position has been filled?
- If a position is posted on our website, this indicates that the hiring department is still accepting applications and the position has not been filled. Applications are no longer accepted once a position is removed from the website, but this does not mean that a position is filled. To get the status of a vacancy, you may contact the Human Resources Department at (850) 201-8510 or email humres@tcc.fl.edu.
- All applicants in none OPS applicants pools will received notification, by mail, once a vacancy is filled.

What should I do if I want to claim veterans? preference?
- You must submit your DD-214 form with your application. Your form will provide your military history, which determines if you are eligible for preference. Once eligibility is determined, you must only meet the minimum education, training and/or experience of the vacancy to be invited for an interview.

Will Human Resources make copies of my applications for current and future vacancies?
- No copies of applications will be made. Applicants must provide applications for each none faculty vacancy of interest.
- Applications are not forward to future applicant pools.

Who do I contact if I have concerns about being treated unfairly?
- Contact Renae Tolson, Human Resources Director and the College's Equity Officer, regarding harassment or inequitable treatment. Mrs. Tolson is located in Room 146 of the Human Resources Suite in the Administration Building on Appleyard Drive. Her hours are 8 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday.
