Educator Preparation Institute holds info meeting

Tallahassee Community College's Educator Preparation Institute will hold an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in Room 123 of the College's Center for Economic & Workforce Development.

TCC student Tycia Foster named International President for PTK

Tycia Foster, a student at Tallahassee Community College, was named International President for Phi Theta Kappa during its 88th International Convention, held in Seattle, Washington on April 20-22. Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of the TwoYearCollege.

TCC Professor Pam Laws and Pianist Marvin Goldstein take "Peace with Music" to the Middle East

A history-making international concert featuring Arab, Jewish and African American musicians - including TCC English professor Pam Laws and Tallahassee pianist Marvin Goldstein - will tour the Middle East from April 27 through May 13.

SportsAbility returns to TCC

The Florida Disabled Outdoors Association's (FDOA) 15th Annual SportsAbility Expo, an event which promotes the quality of life for persons with disabilities through active living, takes place Friday through Monday, April 21-24. Tallahassee Community College is again the host for the opening day of activities.

Speech and Debate has successful trip to National Tournament

Tallahassee Community College's Speech and Debate team captured a seventh consecutive Team Sweepstakes Award during last weekend's Phi Rho Pi National Tournament, held in Kansas City, Kan.

TCC announces commencement speaker

Tallahassee Community College graduate and current Secretary of the Florida Department of Health M. Rony Francois has been announced as the guest speaker for the College's Commencement Ceremony, which takes place Saturday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center on the campus of Florida State University.

TCC travels to India with ISO Extravaganza

Tallahassee Community College's International Student Organization (ISO) will host its 13th annual Festival Extravaganza and Parade of Nations from 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 in the Lifetime Sports Complex.

Flagler-TCC students, Florida Army National Guard host "Boot Camp"

Tallahassee Community College's Flagler College branch educated the community about the Florida Army National Guard during "Boot Camp," Flagler's "Start Here, Go Anywhere" event on Tuesday.

TCC wows the crowd at Springtime Tallahassee

Springtime Tallahassee took place in downtown Tallahassee on Saturday and Tallahassee Community College, once again, played a major role. TCC President Bill Law served as Grand Marshall of the morning parade. The College also entered the parade with a float commemorating its 40th Anniversary. A walking unit of faculty, staff, and students, including the TCC Eagles Basketball team, NJCAA Runners-Up, accompanied the float.
