TCC Foundation Awarded $15,000 from Frueauff Foundation
The Charles A. Frueauff Foundation announced that Tallahassee Community College has been awarded a $15,000 grant to help fund an Ultimate Classroom program for Gadsden County sixth graders.
Led by TCC grad, Taiwanese students set to visit Tallahassee
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 26, 2007) -- On January 28, 17 students from New Century School of Language in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, will touch down in Tallahassee for the start of a 19-day stay in the Sunshine State, much of which will take place in Florida's Capital City.
Rookie Brain Bowl Team Claims Two Victories
Fielding an entirely new Brain Bowl squad didn't stop Tallahassee Community College from garnering a pair of victories over the weekend. TCC outsmarted Okaloosa-Walton's "B" Team as well as North Florida Community College at the Tom Deaton Brain Bowl Tournament held in TCC's Science and Math building.

The Rotary Club of Tallahassee Sponsors New Student Service Organization
Rotaract of Tallahassee, a new student service organization at Tallahassee Community College, Florida State, and Florida A&M has announced that it will begin it's International Service Project by raising $125,000 toward Project Medishare's building of a nutrition and medical complex in Haiti. The new organization will unite student leaders from all three schools to serve the Greater Tallahassee community in the spirit of Rotary, which maintains as it's primary goal, "Service above self."
