TCC’s Quick Job Training Program to hold second information session in Gadsden County
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Last fall, Tallahassee Community College launched its Quick Job Training Program as a way of offering quick and affordable training for displaced and under-employed workers in a series of in-demand jobs.
TCC offers second round of heavy equipment operations training
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A recent industry-trend study of building services determined there was a need to increase the quality and quantity of construction workers in the Tallahassee region. On the heels of the study’s analysis, Florida's Great Northwest Inc. (FGNW) funded a grant for Tallahassee Community College’s Division of Economic & Workforce Development to address the shortfall. The FGNW grant is part of a $15 million U.S. Department of Labor initiative.
TCC Foundation Receives $570,000 from Knight Foundation to Launch Effort

TCC set to unveil its ninth African-American History Calendar
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Twenty-nine individuals will be honored by Tallahassee Community College on Monday, January 26 when the College unveils its ninth annual African-American History Calendar. The 7 p.m. ceremony, to be held in Turner Auditorium, will kick off TCC’s month-long celebration of Black History Month.
Tallahassee Fire Academy to graduate fourth class
