TCC’s Educational Talent Search Program re-funded for 2009-10
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Tallahassee Community College’s Educational Talent Search (ETS) TRiO Program has been funded for the fourth straight year, according to a grant notification from the U.S. Department of Education. The $226,600 grant will be used to help 600 youth with academic potential in Gadsden County complete high school and enroll in postsecondary education programs.

Crawfordville native attends FPSI through Purple Heart waiver
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In May 2006, the Florida Legislature passed more than one bill benefiting veterans – one of which stated that any Florida resident who receives a Purple Heart could attend college tuition-free. Three years later, one student at the Florida Public Safety Institute’s (FPSI) Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy (PTLEA) has earned the right to do just that.
