TCC students attend classes alongside Chinese students

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A group of Tallahassee Community College students and faculty members enjoyed a unique study abroad experience this summer, when they spent six weeks at Tianjin Foreign Studies University in China. TCC instructors Lee Kitchen and Robert Waters taught the six TCC students alongside Chinese students in a course requiring student teams to develop a plan for a new business in China. The TCC students were also enrolled in a Chinese culture course taught by Tianjin professors.

TCC Wakulla Center Offers Second Round of Free Classes

TCC's Advanced Manufacturing Training Center to host grand opening and open house August 10

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Tuesday, August 10, Tallahassee Community College will celebrate the official opening of its Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC). United States Congressman Allen Boyd, Tallahassee Economic Development Council Chairman Kim Williams and former TCC president Bill Law will attend the opening.

TCC student veterans invited to exclusive information session

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Tallahassee Community College has scheduled two open house sessions for its students who are veterans of the U.S. military. The first will be held on Friday, August 6, and the other on Friday, August 13, both from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in room 105 of the Center for Workforce Development.

$80,000 available for TCC computer students’ scholarships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The deadline has been extended to August 11 for Tallahassee Community College students enrolled in information technology and computer-related fields to apply for a scholarship that will pay half of their tuition for the Fall 2010 semester and a $100 textbook stipend.
