Tallahassee Community College's Report to the Community 2010-2011

2010 was a year of transition and change for Tallahassee Community College that saw the departure of its president and the selection of Dr. Jim Murdaugh as TCC’s sixth president. The College opened its new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center and launched new programs in health information and video game design.  TCC also established a new university partnership with Thomas University. Yet through these changes TCC has remained focused on student success. In the words of Board of Trustees Chair Eugene Lamb: “There has been absolutely no change in our strong commitment to meeting the education and training needs of Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla counties.”

TCC prides itself on student success, and the College is performing well in that area. However, Dr. Murdaugh’s aim is for TCC to move student success from good to great. TCC’s Report to the Community details the College’s accomplishments over the past year and provides a foundation to build on these successes. The report delves into the lives of extraordinary students and faculty, and gives members of the community the opportunity to read about what makes Tallahassee Community College the school of choice for nearly 15,000 students.
