What is Service-Learning?

Definition: A structured educational activity, program, or curriculum that engages students in service with the community to address identified needs while reinforcing academic achievement to create an activity that changes both the student and the provider. Service Learning includes academic preparation, work activities needed by the community, and structured reflection.
