A Welcome From Your Student Government

The Student Government Association (SGA) is privileged and honored to welcome you to Tallahassee Community College. As your Student Body President, I look forward to making our campus more customized to you…the students of TCC.

The SGA is composed of an Executive Board, Legislative Body, and Judicial Branch elected or appointed by the student-body, whose core values are service, advocacy, and leadership. The SGA is committed to fostering an environment and supporting  co-curricular activities that is conducive to student success, addressing the concerns and needs of the student body, working with the campus budgeting process for student activities and organizations, and serving as the student body’s voice and liaison to campus committees, TCC administration, state government and national agencies.

By maintaining a professional environment for our students, the Student Government Association will strive to increase student involvement and meet the varying needs of diverse TCC students. In addition, I look forward to continuing past initiatives dedicated to the service and representation of more than 14,000 students at TCC.

You are always encouraged to Get Connected  at TCC by attending and/or participating in SGA meetings which are held throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, contacting a Student Senator during one of the  Forums held throughout the year, or joining out Facebook and Twitter social networks for the latest updates on student issues and on-campus activities and events. These are effective ways for you to share and express any concerns as well as learn about the numerous student service initiatives and activities that support student engagement, learning and leadership at Tallahassee Community College.

Our door is always open to serve you! Feel free to stop by the office to meet with myself or any other Executive Board members and Senators. Our office is located in the Student Union in the Student activities’ office (Room 185). At the same time, if you have a complaint or suggestion, we welcome that feedback.

With pride in our campus and the student body, we believe that our Eagle is more than a mascot…the Eagle is a representation of TCC that says, “We Soar, without Limits.”  Go Blue & Gold!
