It's a way to get a college education. The College Reach-Out Program was started by the Florida Legislature to help students achieve a higher education who might not otherwise have a chance.

During the school year, CROP offers the following activities:

• Homework Assistance/Tutoring
• Academic Enrichment Activities
• Financial Aid & College Preparation Workshops
• Academic Counseling
• Field Trips & Educational Experiences
• College & Career Exploration
• College Advising (for CROP graduates attending Tallahassee Community College)

Students must be in grades 6-12, and must meet one economic guideline AND one academic guideline. Please view the eligibility guidelines table for more information.

Nothing! There is no cost to participate in the College Reach-Out Program at Tallahassee Community College

YES! To help you prepare for college, CROP offers a summer program for rising 9th and 10th graders focusing on math, computer technology, reading, grammar, science, and college preparation.

The College Reach-Out Program also offers a Florida History and College Tour. We take students to various cities for college campus tours and career exploration. Some cities visited have included Orlando, New Orleans, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Atlanta.
