High School Guidance Counselors
CLASS ROSTERS
Students MUST apply to TCC at www.gototcc.com before being registered for a class whether it is taught at your high school or on the TCC campus.
Students must place into ENC1101 in order to be registered in ANY dual enrollment class even if the student is not taking an English class.
Student rosters are due to TCC no later than Friday, January 6, 2012.
Any student who wishes to DROP a class and not have it count on their transcript must obtain written approval from their high school guidance counselor and must contact us no later than Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
Any student who needs to WITHDRAW from a course (this will reflect as a "W" on the academic transcript) must obtain written approval from their high school guidance counselor and must contact us no later than Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
PLACEMENT TESTING
The state legislature passed new legislation this year that will transfer responsibility for readiness testing from the community colleges to the high schools with 2011-2012 as a transition year for this process. For that reason, TCC will be assisting with Fall testing, but will hand over Spring testing to the high schools.
Any student who needs to take the TCC Placement test, FPERT, must first apply to the college online at www.GoToTCC.com and then visit the TCC Testing Center to complete the test.
