Pre-Arrival Packet

Once you are admitted into TCC, download the Pre-Arrival Packet. The Pre-Arrival Packet will give you more information to ensure a proper arrival to TCC. It also includes a Pre-Arrival Check list to help you remember all steps necessary to have a successful arrival to TCC.

The following requirement could be provided after students have arrived at TCC:

Proof of Health Insurance. All international students are required to enroll in an international health insurance program which includes Medical Evaluation and Repatriation before registration for classes is permitted. The College has contracted with Insurance for Students, Inc. (IFS) to ensure that coverage meets the minimum requirements. International Student Health Insurance Website NOTE: Proof of health insurane is necessary for Registration each semester.

Testing/Class Placement

Class registration will take place a day after the mandatory Orientation for International Students. Please submit the results of the college placement test (CPT) to the international student advisor, who will assist you in determining what classes to take during your first semester at TCC.

English and reading placements are very important for international students. There are only two college preparatory English and reading classes for students whose first language is not English if college preparatory placement is indicated by the following CPT scores:
