  1. If I am a new student, what documents do I need to provide for admission purposes?

    If you are a first time student at TCC, you must complete and submit an application for admission, official transcripts from high school and all colleges you have attended, SAT/ACT (if applicable, for course placement purposes), and a residency affidavit. Returning students and non-degree seeking students should contact the Enrollment Services and Student Success office at (850) 201-8555.

  2. Do I have to attend a New Student Orientation program?

    If you are a first time student at TCC, you will need to attend a new student orientation. This program is also recommended for returning students. For additional information and to schedule an appointment, please contact Enrollment Services and Student Success at (850) 201-8555.   3. When do classes begin or where can I find the TCC Academic Calendar?

  4. When can I register for classes?

    Students who plan to use the State employee tuition waiver for up to 6 credits of college work each term must register for eligible classes during the State employee registration window established by TCC. Enrollment is on a space available basis.

  5. Can I use my State Tuition waiver for remedial courses?

    Yes, you can use your tuition waiver for remedial courses. However, SELF-PACED, TV, and non-credit courses do not qualify.

  6. If I receive financial aid, can I also use the TCC state tuition waiver?

    Yes. Please remember that only courses registered for during the established state employee registration period are eligible for the TCC state tuition waiver.

  7. Can I pay for classes and use my State Employee Tuition Waiver also?

    Yes, as long as you register for classes during the State employee registration window. If you register for classes prior to this period or "hold" seats, you will be responsible for the full cost of instruction. The tuition waiver will only apply to classes you sign up for during the State employee registration period set by TCC.

  8. When is tuition due if I am paying for some courses myself?

    Once you register for classes, your fee slip will provide you with the necessary information regarding payment due date.

  9. Where can I get a validated TCC Access card?

    Students need current ID cards to take tests, gain access to TCC's Library, Media Center, the Academic Computing Center labs, the Career Services Center and other campus facilities. In order to get a validated access card, new students must present a current "paid" fee slip and photo ID to the One-Stop Center in Student Union. For current students, to update the validation sticker, please bring a current "paid" fee slip and your access card to the One-Stop Center.

  10. Can I park on campus?

    Yes. Parking decals can be obtained with a valid TCC Access card and vehicle tag number at the One-Stop Center in the Student Union (2nd floor). Parking decals are available to all TCC students free of charge.
