Theatre TCC!
Last year, TheatreTCC! and The Fine and Performing Arts shattered attendance records and offered more quality performances than ever before. Join us this season as we proudly present a slate of artistic gems that will help your imaginations soar.
In 2006, nearly 3,000 young people and parents across the Big Bend journeyed back to Ancient Greece to join Aesop and his band of actors as he shared his fables. This year we are continuing our commitment to the youth of Tallahassee by offering the childhood classic, " Alice in Wonderland."
Spanish moss, canopy roads, stately plantations. These iconic images are the heart of Tallahassee. This year we are excited to celebrate the Southern tradition by offering two classic pieces of literature: Tennessee Williams' " The Glass Menagerie" and Mark Twain's classic novel about acceptance-- "Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."
There's no denying the growth of the arts at Tallahassee Community College! Through the ongoing work of the Foundation, continuing growth of ticket sales, and generous corporate and private support, we provide nearly thirty students with annual scholarships that allow them to explore their artistic dreams. We gather the best directors, designers, technicians, and actors from around the region to produce high quality entertainment. When you add a comfortable theatre and great value it's easy to see why this program should be a repeat stop on your annual tour of our city's fine cultural attractions.
