The Manufacturing & Industrial Technology Program at Tallahassee Community College (TCC) recognizes the challenges facing companies in today's manufacturing and industrial sector. Florida's Big-bend area is home to numerous world-class manufacturers and industries who live the ever increasing daily challenge of competing in the new global landscape. The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Production Technician Certification (an Industry Recognized Certificate): The MSSC Production Technician Certification is awarded to those persons passing an examination encompassing four broad critical manufacturing subject areas: Production and Processes, Safety, Quality Practices and Continuous Improvement, and Maintenance Awareness. TCC is a registered MSSC Assessment Center and one of twelve in Florida.
