The developmental education options offered by TCC are designed to assist you with meeting your career and educational goals. Whether you enter college right out of high school or a few years later, you may need to refresh your academic skills.

By taking the PERT, you will gain a better understanding of your current academic level in math, reading, and writing. Regardless of whether or not you qualify for the exemption, your PERT score is an excellent tool to help you choose the right level of college courses to take.
