Continuing Students

General Dual Enrollment (3 - 11 credit hours)

  • You maintain a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA
  • You maintain a TCC GPA of 2.0
  • You maintain a 75% college course completion rate

Early Admissions (12 - 15 credit hours)

  • You are in 12th grade
  • You maintain a 3.5 unweighted high school GPA (not applicable to Home Education)
  • You maintain a TCC GPA of 3.0
  • You maintain a 75% college course completion rate

Continuing Dual Enrollment Process

Please meet with your high school guidance counselor or home education official to complete the required forms each semester.

Public/Private

  1. Find the courses that are right for you and meet with your High School Guidance Counselor for course qualification and course approval.
  2. Meet with your high school guidance counselor and identify the courses you would like to take. Be sure to include the course section number, as this corresponds to the days and times your class meets. Your High School Guidance Counselor will submit the Dual Enrollment Permission to Register Form to TCC for you.

TCC will register students for their classes based on the Permission to Register Form. Permission to Register Forms will be processed in the order they are received. Please allow 3 business days for your form to be processed. Students will receive a confirmation text and email (to their TCC email account) with instructions on next steps once they have been registered.

     3. Need to make a change to your schedule? Here’s how to do it:

  • Meet with your High School Guidance Counselor and complete the Dual Enrollment Course Adjustment Form. Your Guidance Counselor will submit the completed form to TCC for you.

  • TCC will make the necessary changes to your schedule and notify you when the change has been made.

 All forms must be submitted on or before established deadlines each semester. Deadlines can be found on the main Dual Enrollment Program webpage.

Home Education

  1. Find the courses that are right for you and meet with your Home Education Official (parent/guardian) for course qualification and course approval.

  2. Home Education Officials (parent/guardian) will complete the Home Education Permission to Register Form and list the courses you would like to take. Be sure to include the course section number, as this corresponds to the days and times your class meets.
