Program Purpose

To prepare students to sit for licensure as registered dental hygienists who can perform safely and effectively all those functions which are legal in Florida for the dental hygienist to perform.

Applicants to the Dental Hygiene program must complete all admission requirements to the College; complete all prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of "C"; Cumulative college GPA 2.5 and prerequisite GPA of 2.5.

Program Application

This is a limited access program with a limited number of seats per class. A program application, separate from the College admission application, is required by the published deadline for the term for which entry is desired. Application procedures for the Dental Hygiene Program must be completed by the published application deadline. Application packets are available from the website www.tcc.fl.edu/dental.

Letters announcing admission decisions will be sent out approximately six weeks after the deadline date.
