Campaign for TCC
The Campaign for TCC is an opportunity for the TCC Family to show support of the College. The Campaign for TCC officially begins on September 14 and will wrap-up on October 14.
Your contribution to the TCC Foundation can:
- help a Curriculum student buy her books
- enable a Workforce Development student to learn a skill in order to earn a viable living for his family
- reward a high school senior for her academic achievements
- provide funding for innovative projects developed by TCC faculty, staff, and students
- help to fund a professional development activity for a coworker
As you know, the College’s operating budget is not always enough to meet the varied needs of the College; nor are Federal, State, and local financial aid programs always enough to help Curriculum and Continuing Education students obtain an education.
Your donation makes a difference!
Some areas of support that may be of special interest to you include :
Unrestricted
Unrestricted gifts allow the Foundation to support the greatest needs of the College. Allocations are made on an annual basis and are used to support the mission and goals of the College.
College Innovation Fund
This fund exists to help staff, faculty, and students pursue innovative ideas for projects that will improve the quality and/or quantity of programs and services to TCC. Currently the Foundation provides $30,000 per year for projects that benefit the College and involve costs that fall beyond the College’s operating budget.
The Health Care Provisions & Excellence Campaign
This campaign will enable the college to create and sustain a higher quality of life in our region. Tallahassee Community College will increase the number of qualified health care professionals, add new health care programs and expand existing ones. The campaign will also support scholarships for health care professions students.
There are many other designated and endowed funds already established with the Foundation that may be of interest to you—from program support funds to various scholarship funds. Please call Ranie Thompson at 201-6064 to learn more about giving options.
