Capital City Band of TCC

Founded in 1924, the Capital City Band has been associated with Tallahassee Community College for more than twenty years. Made up largely of community members, this non-audition group is available for college credit (MUN 1180) and is also open to any non-student community member aged 18 or older.

The Capital City Band regularly performs throughout the year in and around the community, including at Springtime Tallahassee, the Winter Festival, and the Fourth of July Celebration at Westminster Oaks Community. The group also performs regularly on TCC campus.

Those wishing to join the Capital City Band must be able to read music and play an instrument at an adequate level of proficiency. All who meet these requirements are welcome to join.

For more information, please e-mail Chuck Perego, Band Director, or contact him at (850) 201-6070.
