The Quincy House Testing Center provides testing services for TCC students, faculty and other educational institutions.

The Testing Center administers a variety of exams, including FPERT, SPI/WEB/TV, Exemption, CJBAT/FBAT, and Distance Learning for non-TCC students.

A TCC photo ID or government-issued ID is required for all testing.

Hours of Operation

Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Friday 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.


Florida Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (FPERT):

  • TCC requires all first-time students, and transfer students who have not completed a college level math and English course, to take a placement test. Students may use ACT, SAT or FPERT scores, as long as the scores are not older than two years.
  • The FPERT is administered by appointment only, Monday - Thursday 9:30a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Distance Learners:

  • Students who reside outside of Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties may establish proctor services for SPI/WEB/TV course testing. Please contact the TCC Distance Learning Testing Office at (850) 201-6440 for more details.
  • SPI/WEB/TV Courses: Students who take classes through Self-Paced Instruction (SPI), WEB based and Televised, may come to the Quincy House to take exams. All tests are administered by appointment only, Monday - Friday.
