TCC will accept the first 24 students who complete the application process, with satisfactory results, prior to the deadline date.
The Nurse Assistant Program will prepare students for the certification exam and subsequent employment as nursing assistants in long-term care facilities, clinics, home care and hospitals.
The program includes 80 hours of classroom/lab instruction plus 40 hours clinical internship in local healthcare facilities. Students will learn to identify and meet basic patient care needs for safety, vital signs, comfort, and activities of daily living. Cost of the program will be $329.50, plus the background and drug screening, which is approximately $146.75 plus any additional third party or court access fees, if required, books, uniforms and CPR certification.
