TCC faculty and staff support Toys for Tots

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 14, 2012) – This year the faculty and staff of Tallahassee Community College contributed 15 large boxes of toys and a bicycle for Toys for Tots. The Toys for Tots charity is operated by the United States Marine Corps Reserve and its goal is “to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.”
A local marine helped collect TCC’s contributions on Tuesday, December 11, loading box after box into their truck. The toys will be distributed to local families in need, helping make their holidays special.
