TCC to host strategic plan events

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (September 23, 2013) – In the month of October, Tallahassee Community College is presenting its five-year strategic plan with community events in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties.
These open forum events are an opportunity for members of the local community to participate in a conversation on TCC’s future, community needs, and the possibility of adding a 4-year degree at the College.
The events are open to the general public. Refreshments will be served.
The event dates and locations are as follows:
Wakulla County, October 1, 5:30 p.m.
TCC Wakulla Center, located at Centennial Bank Building
2932 Crawfordville Highway in Crawfordville
 
Leon County, October 21, 5:30 p.m.
TCC Student Union Ballroom
TCC main campus
 
Gadsden County, October 30, 5:30 p.m.
Florida Public Safety Institute Conference Center
College Drive in Havana
 
TCC’s strategic plan will guide the priorities and initiatives of the College for years to come. It was developed through months of listening, town hall meetings and research. The TCC District Board of Trustees finalized the plan after reviewing inputs from faculty, staff and students—as well as community, civic, business and government leaders.
