TCC's ISS holds annual Silent Auction December 4 and 5

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 2, 2013) – Tallahassee Community College’s International Student Services (ISS) will hold its annual Silent Auction on Wednesday and Thursday, December 4 and 5.

Proceeds raised during the event will support international student scholarships.

TCC students, faculty and staff are invited to the Student Union Ballroom from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday to bid on items from around the world.

Items up for bid at the 2013 auction include: original art from Italy, jewelry and pottery from South America, art pieces from Egypt, Japan, Nepal and India; pictures from Iran, jade from China and clothing from Lebanon. Participants will also have the chance to bid on a dinner for ten at the home of renowned Tallahassee restaurateur Lucy Ho, prepared by Lucy herself.
