Insurance Policy Processor

Insurance policy processors handle applications for, and changes to, insurance policies. They interview clients and take their calls to provide customer service and obtain information on claims, prepare and submit business or government forms and process and record new insurance policies and claims.

Insurance policy processors work indoors in comfortable office settings.

Employment Outlook

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of insurance policy processors is expected to grow 3 to 9 percent between 2010 and 2020, slower than the average for all occupations.
