Drafting and Design Technology A.S. Surveying/GIS Specialization (2136)

The Surveying/GIS Specialization incorporates courses from the CAD Foundations and Fire Sprinkler Design Technology Certificates, which provide an introduction to the design of water-based fire suppression systems; experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit for 3D applications; use of descriptive geometry and drafting techniques; and preparation for the application of these concepts in engineering/architecture technology, construction, and related fields. The curriculum also provides the opportunity for students to prepare for the Autodesk Certified Associate and Certified Professional exams.
