Help Desk/Technical Support, A.S. (2137)
This degree prepares students for entry-level positions in the fields of help desk services and technical support working with software applications, technical support, problem solving, trouble shooting and customer service.
Those who enroll in this certificate will leave with an IC3 certification. Additionally, students in this program may choose to earn the Microsoft Office Specialist and/or CompTIA A+ nationally-recognized certifications. On average, full-time students complete the degree in two academic years (fall, spring and summer). Many of the courses are offered in the evening and via the Web. Part-time enrollment options are available.
TCC offers a series of certificate programs that build to an Associate in Science degree in Help Desk/Technical Support. Students may begin with any of the certificates, or enter immediately into the degree program. Each certificate or degree will provide students with the skills and credentials to move into the job market or advance to the next academic level.
