Building Construction Management A.S. (2160)
Students in this certificate program complete courses designed to prepare them for entry into the construction industry in areas including project superintendent, estimating, building inspection, and project management. Courses include instruction in use and management of heavy construction equipment; materials used in residential and commercial construction; technical communication using Auto CAD; and practical applications of geometry, algebra, and trigonometry. Additional instruction in business aspects of the industry, estimating, and a study of forces on structures are included. Many courses in this A.S. degree apply to other programs in the Engineering and Building Construction Technology program.
