Help Desk/Technical Support Certificate (6323)
This certificate prepares students for entry-level positions in the fields of help desk services and technical support. Courses in the area of help desk/technical support give students the skills they will need both to understand computer hardware and software and to provide technical assistance and support to computer users.
Those who enroll in this certificate will leave with an IC3 certification. Additionally, students in this program may choose to earn the Microsoft Office Specialist and/or CompTIA A+ nationally-recognized certifications.
On average, full-time students complete the certificate in one academic year. Many of the courses are offered in the evening and via the Web. Part-time enrollment options are available.
TCC offers a series of certificate programs that build to an Associate in Science degree in Help Desk/Technical Support. Students may begin with the certificate, or enter immediately into the degree program.
