Accounting Technology Management Certificate (6329)
The Management certificate provides students with an introduction to accounting methods, programs, and systems, including computer and tax accounting and adds hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office 2010 suite. Increased experience with business communication, management, and customer service is emphasized. Accounting courses prepare students for activities related to work in many areas of bookkeeping including accounts receivable clerk, accounts payable clerk and payroll clerk. The certificate also helps prepare students interested in majoring in accounting at the university. The expanded certificate will enable students to work in call centers, hotels and even to become assistant managers.
TCC offers a series of certificate programs that build to an Associate in Science degree in Business Management. Students may begin with any of the certificates, or enter immediately into the degree program. Each certificate or degree will provide students with the skills and credentials to move into the job market or advance to the next academic level.
