Office Administration Programs
Office Administration programs at TCC prepare students for work in automated and virtual environments. Essential skills and competencies are developed with emphasis on achieving success in the workplace. Successful students learn specific office skills, teamwork, accountability, productivity, flexibility and how to effectively adapt to changing technology.
The core curriculum consists of such courses as desktop publishing and web design, business communication, records management, and introduction to management. Students will receive instruction in all aspects of the Microsoft Office Suite, and may choose to sit for the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Examination. TCC offers a series of certificate programs that build to an Associate in Science degree in Office Administration. Students may enter the program at any level, and those who complete the A.S. degree are eligible to receive the three certificates as well.
