To prepare students for licensure as registered dental hygienists and to prepare students to safely and effectively perform all the functions that are legal for dental hygienists to perform in Florida. To prepare students to take the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination.
This program is accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation.

The Dental Hygiene program begins in the Fall semester and is a limited-access program. Applicants must submit both a general TCC application and a healthcare program application by the published deadline.

* General Education math course and HUN1201 must be completed by the end of the Summer semester in order to continue to the second year. Failure to complete these courses on time will result in dismissal from the program.
