Fostering Achievement Collaborative Advisory Council (FACAC)
The Fostering Achievement Fellowship Program is the result of a unique collaboration between several entities working together to address the unmet needs of college bound foster youth in the community. The Fostering Achievement Fellowship Collaborative Advisory Council consists of the Tallahassee Community College Foundation, Tallahassee Community College, an array of local partner organizations, and a group of committed community leaders.
Duties and Responsibilities
The FAF Collaborative functions to create and strengthen the connections to community organizations and stakeholders that are necessary for FAF’s success, and will continue to provide ideas and guidance about the program’s mission, goals, and design.
The Collaborative is committed to raising funds in support of the financial needs and long term sustainability of the Fellowship program. Members of the Collaborative may conduct fundraising through personal donations, special events, corporate solicitation, and grant submissions to state and federal government as well as private foundations. The Collaborative will meet regularly for the purposes of managing funding goals and review of the overall project.
